For Matthew R. Thomas, the true meaning of home was forged in a vibrant, multi-generational household in Santa Cruz, California. Sharing a bustling home with his grandparents, parents, and brothers taught him early on that while space is a premium, family connection is invaluable. It was a busy, tight-knit environment that became a magical and foundational chapter of his life, instilling a deep appreciation for the sanctuary of family.

Driven to carve out a new space and establish a legacy of his own, Matthew relocated his family to Stockton in the winter of 2018. In 2020, he married his amazing partner and the love of his life, and together with their fur babies — who definitely keep them on their toes — they built a beautiful life of their own.

They instantly fell in love with Stockton's rich culture and profound diversity. Today, family remains the absolute center of Matthew's world, whether they are exploring everything the city has to offer, spending weekends in Tahoe, or visiting the coast back in Santa Cruz.
